20-30th April 2015: First year undergraduate students and staff stay in the beautiful Caer Llan Conference Centre in Monmouth for five days of environmental sampling and ecology - plants, beetles, bats and an artificial stream.
22-29th March 2015: Second year undergraduate students and staff spend a week in the (mostly) beautiful spring sunshire of Portugal, staying near Lisbon. We spend sometime doing research projects on invertebrates and birds, but have time to visit the stunning Sintra Cascais Natural Park to search for some of the huge variety of orchids.
3-17th June 2015: Two weeks of safaris, small group projects and learning ID and survey skills. We visit five national parks and reserves, including the iconic Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater, and spend time with our colleagues at the College of African Wildlife Managment.
22-29th May 2015: Staff and MSc students travel to Borth, Wales, for a week of ecological surveying techniques, bog restoration and small group projects.
12-21st May 2015: Staff and MSc students travel to the primeveal forests of Bialowiza to study animal behaviour and conservation.
